68% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Semillon and 8% Muscadelle. Not as unctuous and fulsome as previous Triolets I have had. Some notes of lemongrass, spice and apple. Goes well with food. Still remains an excellent example of a new world White Bordeaux blend yet I think it needed more time. Next in a year or two.

I won the equivalent of lotto if it was paid off in wine instead of cash. I was fortunate enough to sit next to a group of very generous sommelier’s on their day off. For me, one of the most enjoyable experiences when drinking wine is the “ah ha moment” . This bottle was a true revelation. The nose was filled with fruit, florals and freshness . The palate was insane, assaulting your mouth with citrus , orchard fruits and a waxy honey note. Endless acid and a very persistent finish.

Fantastic old school Aussie white. Green fruits, lanolin, acid nerve balanced with waxiness, extremely typical of great Aussie whites.
