A tipping point vintage in the Clare Valley and for some producers a year of Olympic proportions. This wine combines tradition and transformation. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to taste it again, 12 years later.

Four year old Riesling from Australia. Wet stone, clean, crisp, great acidity and minerality; little herbaceous on the back end with an almond dry long finish. Lovely wine, wish I could get my hands on a few more bottles.
