First of all, Cabernet is not my favorite. This wine blew me away. Cool toned fruit, classically styled, and supreme elegance. 13.9% ABV. Get you some.

It took a good hour for the funk to blow off, then it blossomed into a beautiful mid-weight Cabernet with gorgeous purity of cherry fruit accented by pipe tobacco. Good structure, yet at the same time feels almost weightless on the palate. Very nice.

Nov 6th, 2019This is entering a beautiful drinking window. After about a two hour decant, the nose really blossoms with cherry, mulberry, and milk chocolate. Medium-bodied with excellent mid-palate intensity. The texture is plush, though with some nice tannic grip. No hurry to drink these.
