This is a ‘nice’ smooth cab. Soft tannins throughout. Light cherries, raspberry, hint of currant and a touch of clove and nutmeg spiciness. ‘Nice’ - nothing wrong with it in particular - but nothing memorable either.

Very rustic - definitely Rutherford on the nose. Went well with pizza, enjoyed it but not for me. Wouldn’t get again.

Second bottle/separate dates😏. Today with a filet at dinner and I’m confident when I say it’s a really good Zinfandel. It’s seriously heavy! But that being said it’s a nice dark grape hints of dark plum and it’ll be interesting to see what it becomes as the years go by.
