2009 vintage. This is a selection of the best grapes from Château de Chasserat (Blaye), pushed at maximum maturity. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense perfume of blackberry jam, cedar wood and a hint of dried Provencal herbs. Full-bodied with enough concentrated jammy black fruit and acidity to compensate the high alcohol (abv. 15%). Another delicious well-aged Blaye.
