Moss Woods 3rd ranked Cabernet cuvée "Amy's ". Perfect balance in a classical Bordeaux blend toning down the typical Margaret River Herbaceousness/Tomato Leaf. An excellent mid week drink with Good QPR.

Moss Woods 3rd ranked Cabernet blend. Only 50% Cabernet and not giving quite enough of those marvellous Marg River Cabernet descriptors. In the battle of the 3rd ranked Margaret River Cab blends I would give the gong to Voyagers Girt by Sea Cab Merlot. The Amy's is more understated. Will keep for a few more years yet. Good QPR.

In the world of 3rd best Marg River Cabernet blends I prefer others. Notes of black currant with some capsicum. Dusty fine tannins. No need to cellar much more really. Had another bottle on 29th Sept 2016. Similar notes. Had a 2010 entry level Woodlands Cab Merlot recently which showed more Cab regionality. These entry levels need to be drunk under 5 years IMO while there is still some fruit.
