Beautiful golden in color.

Pretty nose of flowers, light oak, apples, light citrus, spices, herbs and light earth notes.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with lemons, apples, pears, light oak, spices and sea salt.

Tangy finish with limes and light herbs.

This is a delicious Single Vineyard Chardonnay from Santa Lucia Highlands in California. Rich and engaging. Elegant and nicely balanced, complex and interesting. Fruit forward, soft and smooth.

Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years and see how it evolves.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.

100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in (33% new) French oak barrels for 9 months. A tiny production of only 2,400 bottles.

13.6% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

Very nice. No overwhelming characteristics but was tiled towards a White Burgundy or a White Rhône. Lovely texture, but could have used more aroma, fruit, and crispness. Medium finish.
