G 17 Santa Lucia Highlands Syrah
94% Syrah, with splashes Grenache and Tempranillo. Inviting nose of blackberry pie and barrel spice. Brambly fresh berry jam palate hints at RS but with enough acid to counter it. Decent length.

Jun 6th, 2020Vanilla and light floral on the nose, vibrant cherry palate that packs a nice punch on acidity without going overboard, cherry follows through to end with some very light woodiness.

Dec 3rd, 2023Not the deep bold Syrah I’m looking for, but the depth of flavor are reflective of the St. Lucia Highlands. Whenever I have wine from this region I think of Frank, Marianne, and the kids - I think that is the best part :)

Jun 23rd, 2020Loved this Syrah. We paired it with chicken thighs roasted with lemon and green olives, served over a bed of sautéed spinach.

Dec 7th, 2018A little lighter in color than other Sarah’s I’ve tasted. A dry yet fruity (not juicy) nose. Berry forward, peppery finish. Medium bodied. Enjoyed with flank steak. Would drink again.
