Found this in my cellar and it was a nice surprise. 7 years ago I rated this 90 with no notes. This is so much better than that now. I wish I was better at notes. Tonight, this has Napa Style but also old world complexity. There is black fruit, spice, coffee, flint, cigar box, toast, and what I’m gonna call loam on the nose. The mouthfeel is fantastic. It coats your mouth in a Napa way without being round or intrusive. Black plum, molasses, blackberry, and the tannins are well positioned. Still grippy but not pronounced. Love this.

Big bold cab. 14.7% etoh. Deep purple color. Smooth on palate with complex flavors. Very tannic

Dark Purple in color, Slightly aromatic nose with herbs, spices and a touch of dark fruits. Soft on the palate with dark cherry, plum and hint of oak. The wine has a nice complexity with the tannins on the finish. Overall a winner....
