Still quite vibrant for a 14 year old wine. Rich stewed fruit, licorice and blackberry. Oak is extremely subtle. Complexing the wine is the Mudgee X-factor. Kind if barnyardy, funky... Some lovely aged roundness too. For all its good point, I feel that it lacks finesse and complexity. Good, but falls short of greatness.
