A merlot for cab drinkers. Dense dark core of chocolate, coffee beans and ripe plum wrapped in rich velvety tannins. Neither flabby nor one note, this has got some muscle and depth while retaining that approachable softness

Stop me if you've heard this before: a Merlot for Cab drinkers. Lovely garnet color in the glass. Big, fruity nose of cherries and blueberries combine with some light oak and wet soil. More full-bodied than I expected with some heat coming in from the 14.4 but it never threatens to overpower. Pretty impressive palate of dark chocolate, herbaceousness, blackberries, and more oak. Add to that just a touch of old leather and coffee. Long, soft finish featuring vanilla and spice. Less finesse, more power. This is quality stuff.

Dry, and pretty great. Fruity , and I can't put my finger on what fruit it is. Great with a peppery pork tenderloin and roasted potatoes

Had with gorgangola cheese. The cheese gave the wine a much better flavor.

First opened is very plummy with some plastic taste but as it opens up becomes more tannic and developed flavor. Drank with cheesecake for dessert and it completely changed to much more pepper but not good with sweets. Allow to breath for about 30 minutes

Enjoyed this Merlot. Strong on front but finishes soft. More complex than expected. Great wine from Corley family
