Piemonte Rosso Red Blend

Red fruit - cherries and raspberries. Cedar is prominent. Damp soil, underlying truffle, dried thyme. Smooth, soft tannin and very dry. Good pair with tonights sautéed mushrooms.

Old world meets new world. Mostly Nebbiolo, with rose petal laced perfume, and bright, ripe, red fruits. Raspberry, cherry, iron rich dust, leather, dried thyme, and the unmistakable earthiness of mushrooms. A very young wine with nearly zero bottle time, so seek this out to cellar, or enjoy it now!

Way to high on the alcohol and it continued through multiple glasses. Burned my eyes and nose with every sip.

Started as good as the first time : cherries and raspberries with a tannin bite. After a half hour fruit disappeared and tannin was dominant.

Had this with mussels steamed in beer, with fennel... very nice combination

The rosso is flavorful and light with a nice bitter after taste, got it at Whole Foods.

Its flavorful yet smooth. Do no need food to go with it. It's one of my favorites
