The youthful (but in this case slightly harsh) tannins and high acidity that is common with CC is not balanced with alcohol or fruit to be honest leaving it slightly thin. Will benefit from some age but not sure it’s going to win medals. Not bad for the price though £11 at Waitrose.

Waitrose? Easy going Chianti - fairly light and easy drinking - good flavours but not masses to jt.

A bit too much acidity to really enjoy. Tempered by some rich food but there are better examples around.

Was lovely when first opened but got increasingly more acidic as it aired. Would not buy again
