Very nice but a tad less pop than the 2015. Nose is dense dark fruits with a touch of spice. Approachable on opening. Palate full bodied with leather and tobacco most prominent with prune/raisin/undergrowth and moderate tannins. Crisp and clean finish considering the complexity.

Very nice, very big. Should have left it for another couple of years, but with a bit of decanting drank very nicely with a big steak.
