This Touriga Nationale blend is medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. The oak is extremely restrained, so the plum and bright cherry fruits come to the forefront, but there is s slight bitterness to the finish which would make it a superb food wine.

This wine is both sweet and tart, sort of an ideal food wine for spicy meat dishes. It has a touch of smoky oak to the finish, but not enough to spoil the experience. We paired it with Mongolian beef & bok Choy tacos.
