Produced at a monastery outside of any DOC. Made from Tempranillo purchased from neighboring Rioja, traditional vilification. Non-vintage, label on back reads 1995 bottle date. Opens fresh and delicate, with no finish. Builds with airtime, chewy and muscular red fruit, and pronounced hung game and leather notes. Not a great wine, but a testament to the longevity of tempranillo/Rioja.
