Day 3... Dried cherry, rhubarb, rose pedal, tobacco, and cracked leather, like a old baseball glove. Rustic all around. Plush and firm on the palate with a strong mid-palate tannin that smooths into a balanced finish. Red and blackcherry fruit. Secondary hints of sage, tar, and tobacco. Layered. Finishes with freshness and length. Hold for 5+ years.

2012. Balanced and approachable, with chalky and bright redcurrant fruit. Decent cruchy acidity and grip for balance.
