A simple Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles.
Easy drinking and fruit forward.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself as a sipping wine.
Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years.
A nice party wine too.

Deep garnet red. Inviting nose of black cherry and cassis. Medium full palate echoes the nose adding a vanilla sheen. Surprisingly lower (medium minus) tannins than its “regular” sibling, but still enough for a good, cookout food wine. Medium minus acidity (see previous sentence). A nice upgrade to the standard Mena Mesa that should appeal to the Paso Cab lover on Tuesday night. Drink now.

Opaque violet in the glass.
Jammy berries at the forefront of the aroma.
Moderately structured, with intense palatefeel on the sides of the tongue. Tastes like jam or jelly made from raspberries, blackberries, and plums. Some tannins emerge near the end of the long finish. Very enjoyable!
