California Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is just barely drinkable; it tastes of honey and yeast.

Incredibly smooth, yet somewhat uninteresting

Smelled and tasted too much like cigarettes. Winston's to be exact. Not for me, I'll stick to the American Spirits! :-)

Deep purple in color with a purple rim.

Fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, earth, leather, cherries, spices and peppercorn.

Full bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, peppercorn and spices.

Medium finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

A nice California Cabernet. Simple and easy drinking. Can be had all by itself or with food.
Well balanced and enjoyable. Even Good for parties.

13% alcohol by volume.

Somewhat of a light Cabernet but for the price very doable. Lot of fruit on the finish. Great for someone starting on their first foray into Cabernets.
