Another local vino from the Nelson region! We picked this one up from a local bottle shop to enjoy over a catch up with some friends and some Hells Pizza.

Milcrest Estate are located in Hope, Nelson at the foot of the Richmond Ranges. They grow 10 different types of grapes including a Syrah, Montepulciano and Dolcetto in the reds.

This 2014 Sauv Blanc has a few years of age on it which made it rather mellow and rounded - very enjoyable if you ask me! It’s a pale yellow colour on the eye with crisp Granny Smith apples, banana passionfruit and a hint of minerality on the nose. The palate as mentioned is smooth and very approachable with a distinct lime note. Yum!

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine
