At great little Greek pizza place with great wine by the glass in Thissio, Athens called Caravin. 48euro or 12euro for 150ml. Has a faint ?honey taste in the finish. A very classy xinomavro.

The nose is made of clay, chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, leather and mocha. Wow this nose is a never-ending story that unfolds with every single sniff. The palate is very well made with a massive acid backbone, a good width and a milky, silky mouthfeel, some pretty lively, edgy tannins in the rear that completely disrupt the mouthfeel, powering a long finish with that drying layer, those red berries and mocha notes that last for a very long while. Wow xinomavro is intense
