The rare reserve from Desestret. Nose is glorious. Deep granite and game. Also lavender. Light oak. Wet earth. So so aromatic. 17 is open and glorious now. Palate is super concentrated and complex but also a bit young but man are those tannins fine and ripe. So sappy and pure. And long. Toothsome. Velvet and furry tannins. Juicy and so deep. Really terrific stuff and opening by the minute.

Wow. Quite intense. Peppery, forest fruit spicy. Violet, fennel and black currant. Very sweet but also herbal, garrigue, and with pleasant bitterness; spicy, with a long finish. Really good stuff. Super concentrated.
