Reserva Gran Coronas Penedès Cabernet Sauvignon

This red has a very strong taste, and it's quite dry, leaving me with a tart taste in my mouth. My teeth were left tinted grey. However, this wine tastes much nicer once aerated, and is lovely with some aged cheddar!

Very interesting full-bodied cab with strong umami and black currant notes and other aromas approaching Tempranillo territory (raspberries, tobacco, vanilla, dill). Fantastic brick color from aging but might be a bit past its prime.

Delicious. Inky. Full bodied and drinkable. Great value for the price. Amazing with dark chocolate and stands up well to bold food pairings.

Yum! Perfect fruit forward wine with a bold finish!

Vibrant and delicious. Goes especially well with Jamon iberico. What a treat. Liz really enjoyed this one.

Different and good. I'd buy it again for sure.

Very good wine. I wonder if Spanish reds are typically so good.
