La Rose Pourpre Vieilles Vignes Beaujolais Gamay

This Gamay is a nearly ideal Beaujolais. It is light bodied, with peach, pear, and banana flavors. It made a great cocktail wine.

Roses and violets all over this. Intriguing. #nakedwine

2014 vintage - intriguing mix of blackberry jam, violets, and rose petals. May sound funny, but it tastes purple, which turns out to be a good thing.
