That's a shift from previous vintages with no Clariette, and yet this wine's personality and intensity remain intact. A melange of bruised pear, ripe melon and yellow peach accented by honey, anise and a whiff of kerosene. The palate is fleshy and lush, but nicely balanced by bright acidity, candied grapefruit peel, and mineral tones.

Had with oysters and was divine. Great lees undertone and extremely aromatic, hitting all the right notes. Well played, sir.

2010 vintage. 90% Grenache Blanc, 5% Roussanne, 5% Viognier. Should have drunk this already, but hanging in there.

2012. Really nice. Nose is all musky ripe guava, beeswax, and deep floral notes. Mouthfilling, ripe, with a lingering finish of minerals and bitter honey. Nice balance for a big dry white. I have no idea how much this costs, since my brother gave it to me (I hope he kept some for himself.)
