Costières de Nîmes Cabernet Sauvignon

A little lacking for me, but a decent Cabernet. Wasn't clearly evident that there was much oak aging, and drank like a young cab, which it is. Dark purple, with casis notes, green pepper, and tart, minerally undertones and some tart fruit.

Smooth easy drinking cab. High qpr low tannin.

I did not like it at all. It tasted cheap to me & just like vinegar. Will mot buy again.

Surprisingly light -- not a good thing. Didn't speak to me as didn't seem complex nor elegant as it was suscribes to me. Earthy and fruity. Heavy tannins.

Not bad, slight French sulfury taste, but in a good way. I'd get it again.

Total Wine - $15 - tasted this at a blind taste test. I thought it was the $40 bottle. Nice surprise it was $15 instead. Very smooth and light. Opened bottle last night. Really love this wine. Very surprised, since I normally just drink California wines. Will definitely buy another bottle.

Tart, dry, bitter, floral

Purple color with a nose of cherry and blackberry. The pallet has a subtle tartness of cherry and definitely a plum finish. Full bodied, medium plus acidity, great with a steak. 100% cab.

"Dark" in flavor. Low tannin so no bite. Quick finish. Chalky in mouth. Not memorable but not bad.
