Rich dark fruits, spice and chocolate notes. Voluptuous and well balanced. — 7 years ago
Good but not as great as I had expected. More hype than flavor — 8 years ago
Surprisingly light -- not a good thing. Didn't speak to me as didn't seem complex nor elegant as it was suscribes to me. Earthy and fruity. Heavy tannins. — 7 years ago
Beautiful violet color. Sweet and inviting aroma of dark berries and brown sugar. Medium body, leathery tannins, lots of plum and raisins. Can be drank right away even though is 2015. Good depth for how young this wine is. About $23. Great value!!!! Will definitely buy again. — 7 years ago

Dry and earthy summarizes this wine. Medium-bodied with lots of tannins and hints of tobacco, cedar and dark berries. You can taste the French oak distinctive character. Good wine for the price (about $20) — 7 years ago
Much lighter than expected. After breathing, it showed some earthiness and spice but overall not the type of wine I expected. — 7 years ago
I was looking forward to this but I didn't like it. The wine is balanced but has no depth. A little acidic which I didn't expect for the blend. Tannat forward. Would not buy again, specially since this was a much pricier wine than its counterparts. — 8 years ago

It didn't take long to open up and show a very well balanced wine. Unusual to see Petit Verdot from Italy but this was very good. Extraordinary tannins, fruit forward (big cherry/black currant) and earthy. Full-bodied. Great value. — 7 years ago
