I came around on this wine. The issue is approach. I was expecting it to be a Burgundian expression of Chardonnay, but this is definitely more akin to a natural or orange wine (displays both Brett and VA.) Treat it as if it were red; decant it and let it warm to about room temp. Drink it with strong, funky cheese. Close your eyes when you smell it; the aroma is almost like Barbera or a comparable acidic, funky Italian red. This wine is good, but you 100% have to be ready for wine that is not at all like typical French Chardonnay.
