La Rosine Syrah
Lovely wine. Florals, woodsmoke, dark cherrys, vegetable juice, faint spice and no new oak in sight. Raspy, sandy tannin profile and supple but present tannin. Slightly tight to begin with, worth giving some air. Would kill it with some tacos

May 29th, 2016Floral w/ a liquid bacon sense. Not too tannic. Medium acidity. Value vise this is perfect.

Mar 25th, 2018Very nice Northern Rhone Syrah. A little too simple on day one, but by day two lots of white pepper and even a little smoky bacon to complement the dark fruit core. Not especially dense, but everything is well balanced for an inexpensive bottle that hints at the glories of Côte Rotie.
