Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby color with purple edges, aromas of berry fruits with baking spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry, plum and vanilla, with notes of cinnamon and spice. Firm tannins, medium finish, lively acidity ending with fruit and spice notes.

Started out a bit thin and tart but was impressive when I pulled it back out of the fridge on the second day. On the nose tart blackberry, bramble, boysenberry, dark chocolate bar, hints of smoking grease fat on the grill and charred wood. A rich medium mouthfeel of well balanced fruit, acid, and tannins with blackberry, black cherry, cocoa powder, hints of cracked pepper, pie spices, Chambourd, and grill grease on a medium-long finish. Surprisingly impressed for the price; fantastic value (if you have the patience to wait a day).

Nice Zin. Paired well with smoked salmon and Stilton. Will buy again.
