Noae is floral and earthy. Petit Verdot is known for being quite overpowering by itself, so managing to make a smooth wine while retaining it character is difficult. This wine falls a bit short on expectations. There are tannins but they are more mellow than expected. They do linger well, but are low. A medium-mild sweet oak stays through the finish as well. Full flavored plum is the primary fruit flavor and bit of dark chocolate as well. There is also a little bite on the end adding a short lasting spice. This is an enjoyable bottle, but I think they diluted the true characteristics of the grape too much.

Fantastic fruit, good acidity, spice on the finish. Can't ask for anything better. Well balanced wine!

Leather, coffee and tobacco nose. Big, smooth, reserved fruit and nice mouth feel. Balanced, black cherry finish.
