The second wine I’ve tried from this series and again, the quality is obvious though I prefer Rage. This is a fruit bomb of sorts and while it’s got enough character to keep it from being flabby and boring, it’s not as interesting to me. Drink now.

Wow this is a big tobacco filled, dark cocoa Amador County Zin. Luscious and jammy.

Had this on Juliette and I's "first date"...so the experience may be clouding my judgement, but we both remember this being really good. Pretty bold and a little spicy. I'm definitely a Michael David homer, so....

2006. 8yr old Zin from Lodi. This used to be a bruiser of a wine. Now it's quite balanced, nuanced, and at the end of its life. Very vegetal with green bean and English pea aromas, balsam, and tasting of an amalgam of stewed raisined cherry, black currant , oak, mushroom, and white pepper. 16.5%abv.

👍👍 Gluttonous. Big, bold and flavorful. Another enjoyable, robust zin from Michael David.
