Yorkville Highlands Petite Sirah

2016 enjoyed on 4/23/24 needs more time, quite tight. sorry that I opened now, too soon. except that it was part of a baller PS/Syrah tasting

Seems rather closed. Dark fruit, decent tannins, expected more oomph.

Very balanced and paired fantastic with with red meat and some spicy sides.

Very nice wine. Good body with nice earthy notes.

2009 Meyer Family Cellars - Petite Sirah.
A little lite on body with dry mouth feel and weak bouquet. Not a typical Petite Sirah. To be honest I was expecting more for price.
