A nice and balanced Chardonnay from Edna Valley.

Showing light oak, citrus, vanilla, spices, limes and grapefruits.

Crisp when properly chilled.

Nice finish, and a good everyday wine. Nice for the pool too.

14% alcohol by volume.

85 points.

$8.

At first I didn’t know how it was gonna go because it’s from the Edna Mode Valley. But it was as incredible as her super suits. A+.

I’m not always a fan of Chardonnay. I enjoy a fruit forward, balanced one over oaky and buttery. I prefer steel barrel aged too. This was a lark @Trader Joes. It’s well rounded - more tropical fruit, cantaloupe at first with lovely baking spices following. There’s that kiss of oak and a bit of richness but let’s face it - this isn’t a 30 dollar Chard - but I love it for what it is! 🤷‍♀️ Inexpensive, every day white for the non-Chard lover.
