Feb 14th, 2020I’m not always a fan of Chardonnay. I enjoy a fruit forward, balanced one over oaky and buttery. I prefer steel barrel aged too. This was a lark @Trader Joes. It’s well rounded - more tropical fruit, cantaloupe at first with lovely baking spices following. There’s that kiss of oak and a bit of richness but let’s face it - this isn’t a 30 dollar Chard - but I love it for what it is! 🤷♀️ Inexpensive, every day white for the non-Chard lover.
