2020. This very light-bodied Monastrell came as part of our friends wine club. I would not have identified it as Monastrell, but it was an easy quaffer with pizzas.

Ruby red wine. Medium body. Started tannic and a bit sour in the end. 6-7 of Firstleaf.

First leaf. Light bodied. Fruit forward but balanced with sweet. Smooth. Easy drinker. Paired well with mexican style tomato based rice dish. Would drink again
