This southern Italian wine is full of sun and power, it has a deep dark almost black color, aromas of cooked black cherries, plum jam, figs, cloves, sweet spices and licorice, full body with soft round tannins, a sense of sweetness and light touch of acidity. Very fruit forward and lacking complexity and acidity. My score 84, drink to 2018

#Pietra 2010. Very strong and powerful wine. Black fruits, earthy and oaky aromas, full body and high alcohol (in nose and palate), need to breathe some time... Good acidity and velvety tannins.
