Melini
Governo All'Uso Toscano Chianti Sangiovese
Nice mature wine. Easy to drink with little sourness. Sourness increases with time so better to drink when it’s fresh.

Jul 15th, 2024Second time trying this wine in a month and it hasn’t got any better. Let it breath a lot before drinking. No particular aroma or taste. Feels a bit flat.

May 14th, 2020Red berries, hay and and blueberry on the nose. Lovely. The palate is both long and acid driven with matter and grip. Red berries on the side, soft tannins and an everlasting finish with small red berries. Superb chianti

Dec 27th, 2018Very nice nose with red berries (raspberry, blackberry), almonds, meat lightly too. The palate is rather balanced with a nice fruit and a soft velvety texture along a shy acid backbone (which is there !). Fresh finish with red forest berries. Good surprise bought in an Italian restaurant in the outskirts of Toulouse, France.
