Estate Grown Lodi Petite Sirah

Purple red, very good clarity, moderate plus pigment extraction. Vanilla and wet wood aromas with a hint of plum. Label says correctly: caramel, mocha, black fruit (maybe blackberry?). Inexpensive but tasty, decent value for a ripe (but not overripe) wine style

Very smooth berry with definite notes of caramel, but not overwhelmingly jammy and not high in tannins. Says it’s certified green which is all the better, but no more details on the label. Hint of mint at the end. Easily drinkable.

Aromas of rich dark fruit compote, vanilla, tea leaves.
Dry. Flavors of cassis, blueberry jam, vanilla, black tea, floral, cocoa. Rich, velvety tannins.

Smooth. Little spice or citrus, just smooth, dark, succulent goodness.

Good Petite Sirah from Lodi. Good depth flavors. Full bodied and great with steak.

Very much enjoyed this Petite Sirah. Included my favorite flavor notes (mocha, black fruit, toffee) with a distinct acidity.

Opens nicely. Good flavor worthy of another buy.
