Deep straw in color with a golden hue.
Nice nose of white flowers, lemons, citrus, tropical fruits, kiwi, pineapples, minerals, sea salt and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, spices, bitter herbs, grapefruits, cream, limes, green apples and black pepper.
Medium plus in finish with bitter almonds and spices.
This California Viognier is spicy and balanced, with mild complexity. A little watery in the mouth. Showing a lovely nose of white flowers. A good summer wine all by itself.
I paired it with food, and it worked well with my Mahi Mahi dish.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Weak tropical fruit smell, warm and acidic taste. Not getting much taste other than grape and alcohol. Drinking with a cold, so I'll give it another try sometime, but not my favorite viognier.

The earthy roundness coupled with the mid-palette sweetness is unctuous. I'm gonna put this one on my list of don'ts along with South African Chenin Blanc and New Zealand Sauvingon Blancs. Sorry 'bout it.

Pale yellow. Pear. Crisp apple. Acidic with Granny Smith. Creamy with baby Swiss.

Who said "grapes & alcohol"? Yep. Thats about it. I found very little fruit, not enough acidity to balance it out. Earth, vanilla, a little mineral on the end. Not my fav.
