McKahn Family Cellars - 2019 Grenache - WOW! I love Grenache and this is definitely my new favorite!!! this is just about the perfect wine. The nose is blueberry pie fresh out of the oven. The initial palate is loaded with big ripe black and purple fruit and berries. This is so good and complex. Blackberry, boysenberry, plumb, ripe sweet juicy grapes fresh off the vine, and a hint of raspberry. Then comes the earthy tones of graphite and oak. There is a hint of chocolate and spice in the background. The finish is dry and absolutely no sourness anywhere. This is a true gem!!!!!
Fantastic job McKahn family!

I have discovered a new favorite. McKahn Family Cellars. This is their Grenache 2018. The bouquet is full of spice and rhubarb pie. The initial palate is somewhat sour on the beginning but then diffuses into a nice dark berry flavor. This is followed by spice and dark chocolate. Then comes the oak and smoke. The finish is semidry and leaves you thirsting for more.
