Whilst this May Fly tonight it didn’t!
A wonderful Lobster meal but this did not match the fine dining experience. Bland leading the bland but like most SB better than the competition at this level. Gets a little better with each glass but that is because it coats the pallet and most plonk does.

Full disclosure - Drank this so fast and went onto the next so quicky I can hardy give a comprehensive review. Flavor was light, crisp, and enjoyable served ice cold.

Typical NZ Sauvignon nose : a strong herbal note, citrus, a bit of catpiss too. But the herbal note is front and center here. The palate is well done with a strong acid backbone and a sweet spot, especially in mid palate. There is lemony note all along and some zesty, bitter touch after a while during a rather long finish. This is a cool, easy going wine.
