V13 A mass produced German Riesling for the Rheinhessen region. Our first none the less.
Canned pineapple on the nose, with passion fruit in the mouth.
A high acidity finish.
Good bang for buck at €5

Sep 26th, 2014Nose is lemon rind, mineral, herbs, and a dry funk. On the palate tartness prevails, with a wash of bright citrus, ripe melon, and some diesel funk. Finish is dry and pucker-y, with lingering citrus rind medicinal bitterness. Not my favorite, but you could do a lot worse for a Riesling from Pfalz.

May 10th, 2021Not exactly my favorite type of wine, but definitely not as dry as I expected. It's rated a very dry reisling on the label.
