Cherry and plum on the nose, medium bodied, medium tannins, drinkable- pairs well with pork dumplings

When you’ve had a long day on the road checking out a vineyard up for lease this is exactly what you want to drink. Utterly delicious red berries, bright, fresh, my kind of rosé

Beautiful red beam of cherry color dark as Gamay. Cherry, cola, sage, rosemary aromas. Powerful concentrated full flavors of blood orange and red candy. Not for the pool. Save for a good meal. So many layers to sip through.

I have good memories of Métisse 2015, however, I must sadly say the 2016 was a big dissapointment. It does lack the purity of fruit I expect and worst of all, the alcohol is pretty much noticiable.
After all sort of artifices in order to miraculously improve its quality of fruit and balance, I gave it up when the mouth turned itself into a highly alcoholic cerise au marrasquin.
Métisse 2016 is unfortunately not my cup of tea. Will give it a try once again though.
