Made exclusively for Lasco Enterprises (The Tasting Room, Max’s Wine Dive, and Boilerhouse) this wine is named after the owners’ sons, Max and Jack. This particular PN is one that my wife has been ordering for years, but this specific bottle has a rather humorous story behind it, making it unique in its own way. Last year my wife & I were at one of the Max’s locations here in town for the National Wine Day sale and noticed the whole Lasco family was there, as well. Jerry, the owner, came over and started talking to us while at the bar and ended up convincing his sons (unbeknownst to us) to sign a bottle and gift it to my wife as a funny, good-natured gesture. Needless to say we all thought it was quite funny, especially since his sons are naught but teenagers who clearly thought the whole affair was weird and embarrassing (for them) 🤷🏻♂️
