Classic vino di tavola from the region, with luscious fleshy fruit-forward Barbera notes and a bit of crunch from the Freisa. Earthy, herbaceous, but full and inky enough. Relatively yeasty at the finish, with minor funk. Some tartness and high acidity makes it a little cloying after a while. A good food wine, not sure if worth the QtP however.
