One of the well-balanced Zinfandels. Not super jammy, not too spicy. A Dry Creek Classic. Good pairing for the skirt steak / chimichuri entrees.

Blackberries, dark chocolate and freshly ground spices: cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns, black pepper. Seems to be more balanced compared with older vintages, but is fairly light on tannins.
