So I thought it was off dry to subtly sweet, and then I learned it has 32 grams of RS. In short, I probably have diabetes.

Juicy, exotic spice...great fun to drink. Grand Cru technically, but since it's a field blend, it's declassified

Unctuous yes but lacking enough acidity to balance the richness of the wine. Definitely off-dry and nicely restrained Gewurztraminer spice but it doesn't quite come together for my taste. I respect it but don't love it.

Contrary to one of the prior notes, I get enough acidity and minerality to balance the more unctuous qualities. This strikes me as having classic balance so long as an impression of bone dryness is not expected .
