Delicious. Sappy sweet herbs, black cherry, hint of underbrush. 15 years and still hitting its stride.

Decanted for 2 hours. Pale purple, clear rim and medium viscosity. On the nose, red fruits - cherries, strawberries, raspberries, wild flowers, spices and chalky minerality coming through. On the palate, a delicate balance of red fruits, spices, dancing acidity, tannins that still very much there and a long finish. This is a complex wine but very well integrated and a pleasure to drink! Will be superb in 5-7 years when the tannins soften to be round and silky and play with the lively acidity adding even more linearity. Nonetheless, this is a good 1er Cru with a good expression of a classic burgundian.

CVed 12/29/16. Nose of earth and woodiness but balanced by fruit and floral notes. Fruity and cherries on nose with long finish. More earthy than Peuillets. Leanest of the three. Opened 1/21/17 at MRs dinner. Tasting very well. More sweet fruit profile than earth and barnyard like the others.
