Very nice balance that stood up to several courses including pork belly and halibut. Not as acidic as expected.

Loved this wine. A Red Sancerre made from Pinot Noir, you can tell that this is a rustic, earthy, beautiful wine. Hard to find in the US. Aromas are chalky, wet stone & light red fruit. Palate had a smoky violet/lavender character with a dusty finish. A gem.
