If you’ve had the Matthews 2019 Rose, think lighter, watermelon rind, and slightly more floral than the ‘19. This is another excellent Rose from Matthews that is perfect for drinking in the sun.

Nothing Matthews puts out is sweet, and this is no different. Light notes of strawberry and floral fruitiness, but not overpowering. If possible let it breathe for 15 minutes while still keeping it chilled. Perfect for a hot day.

Lovely grapes for a Rose. Cherry blossoms with hints of apricot & honey creates comfort.

2019 Matthews Rise is a lovely bottle of wine. Not just a summer Rose! This 100% Cab Franc is dark pink in color and is as impressive to the eye, as it is to taste. All year long Rose.

Cab Franc is the grape of choice, for Matthews’ Rose this year. It is dry, delicious and packed with hints of rose water, fruits, and watermelon. I would grab a bottle before it sells out!

100% Cab Franc. Watermelon on the nose with floral hints. Great wine to pair with food but drinks alone equally well!

LOVE this drier Cab Franc Rosé. I cracked it open and let it sit a few hours in the fridge to get more of the crushed strawberries flavor. Love the 2018 as much as I love the 17. Drinks so easy all year round and perfect pairing with fruit desserts such as pies or strawberry cheesecake. Yum!

Notes of green Apple and plum. 2016 vintage I believe was actually Grenache grapes. Easy drinking with salads, white fish and chicken. Best served cold so keep your ice bucket handy. Heavier body for a rosé, potentially due to age (drinking in 2018, released in 2017).
